(Vatican News)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-a7ef583f25e899f811ad9157da974a54\"><strong>Por\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.elconfidencial.com\/mundo\/\">Europa Press<\/a> \/ El Confidencial<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Oficina de las Celebraciones Lit\u00fargicas del Sumo Pont\u00edfice ha difundido este s\u00e1bado las im\u00e1genes del&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.elconfidencial.com\/mundo\/2025-04-21\/que-es-anillo-pescador-papa-por-que-sera-destruido-1qrt_4113098\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anillo del Pescador<\/a>&nbsp;y del Palio que ser\u00e1n entregados al Papa Le\u00f3n XIV durante la celebraci\u00f3n de ma\u00f1ana, domingo 18 de mayo, con motivo del inicio de su Ministerio Petrino.&nbsp;<strong>Ambos objetos representan las tradicionales insignias episcopales asociadas a la figura de San Pedro.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el interior del Anillo del Pescador est\u00e1 grabado&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.elconfidencial.com\/mundo\/2025-05-13\/primer-viaje-oficial-papa-leon-xiv-destino-dejo-pendiente-francisco-1qrt_4128479\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">el nombre de Le\u00f3n XIV<\/a>, mientras que en el exterior se representa a San Pedro con las llaves y la red, s\u00edmbolos de su misi\u00f3n apost\u00f3lica. Esta imagen hace referencia al ap\u00f3stol pescador que, confiando en la palabra de Jes\u00fas,&nbsp;<strong>ech\u00f3 las redes desde la barca y recogi\u00f3 la pesca milagrosa<\/strong>, se\u00f1ala la explicaci\u00f3n oficial.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Anillo del Pescador tiene un valor simb\u00f3lico profundo: act\u00faa como sello que autentica la fe, una misi\u00f3n encomendada a Pedro seg\u00fan el&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.elconfidencial.com\/cultura\/2024-11-02\/evangelios-apocrifos-la-figura-de-jesus-nino-tambien-fue-durante-siglos-la-de-un-maton-de-colegio_3993110\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Evangelio de Lucas<\/a>&nbsp;y que ahora se transmite tambi\u00e9n al nuevo pont\u00edfice. Junto al Anillo,&nbsp;<strong>el Papa recibir\u00e1 el Palio, cuya imagen tambi\u00e9n fue difundida este viernes<\/strong>. Se trata de una estrecha banda de lana blanca que se apoya sobre los hombros, encima de la casulla, la vestidura lit\u00fargica. El Palio simboliza al obispo como buen pastor y, al mismo tiempo, al Cordero de Dios crucificado por la salvaci\u00f3n de la humanidad.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Decorado con seis cruces negras de seda, una en cada extremo que cuelga por el pecho y la espalda, y cuatro en el anillo que rodea los hombros, el Palio incluye adem\u00e1s tres alfileres (acicula)<strong>\u00a0que evocan los clavos de la cruz de Cristo<\/strong>.
