Es una de esas obras en las que el artista de Fuendetodos tradujo su mirada m\u00e1s cr\u00edtica. No era un encargo y pudo ser libre. En ella, dos ancianas decr\u00e9pitas y cadav\u00e9ricas, vestidas de forma lujosa, se miran presumidas en un espejo en el que se puede leer: \u00ab\u00bfQu\u00e9 tal?\u00bb. Detr\u00e1s de ellas, Cronos se prepara para barrer a las mujeres y a su vanidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se expone junto a su radiograf\u00eda, unos trabajos que revelaron&nbsp;<strong>la existencia de una pintura soterrada<\/strong>. En la parte superior izquierda hab\u00eda una Resurrecci\u00f3n de Cristo de una composici\u00f3n anterior, rodeada de peque\u00f1as nubes en las que se vislumbran rostros o \u00e1nimas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/s.libertaddigital.com\/2024\/11\/25\/las-viejas-de-goya-radiografia.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.libertaddigital.com\/2024\/11\/25\/las-viejas-de-goya-radiografia.jpg\" alt=\"las-viejas-de-goya-radiografia.jpg\"\/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Radiograf\u00eda de &#8216;Las viejas&#8217; de Goya<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Los resultados que arrojaron esa prueba de Rayos X obsesionaron al alem\u00e1n&nbsp;<strong>Sigmar Polke<\/strong>&nbsp;(1941-2010), que vio en Goya una fuente de inspiraci\u00f3n, a pesar de trascurrir entre ambos dos siglos. Las \u00e1nimas conectaba con \u00absu inter\u00e9s por lo m\u00e1gico y lo paranormal\u00bb y le anim\u00f3 a experimentar nuevas b\u00fasquedas art\u00edsticas. Ese hallazgo reafirmaba su concepci\u00f3n de la pintura como \u00abcapas que sedimentan el tiempo y la memoria\u00bb. Polke, como explic\u00f3 su hija Anna Polke, pas\u00f3 unas seis semanas en Madrid en la d\u00e9cada de los 80 donde \u00abvisit\u00f3 El Prado casi todos los d\u00edas fascinado por Goya, siempre Goya\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/s.libertaddigital.com\/2024\/11\/25\/polke-goya.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.libertaddigital.com\/2024\/11\/25\/polke-goya.jpg\" alt=\"polke-goya.jpg\"\/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Sigmar Polke fotografiando el cuadro &#8216;Las viejas&#8217;. | Britta Zoellne<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Esa conexi\u00f3n entre ambos artistas es el hilo conductor de la nueva exposici\u00f3n temporal del<a href=\"https:\/\/www.libertaddigital.com\/organismos\/museo-del-prado\/\"><strong>&nbsp;Museo del Prado<\/strong><\/a>,&nbsp;<em>Sigmar Polke.
