El exfutbolista convertido en actor Carl Weathers<\/strong> ha muerto a los 76 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La legendaria estrella de pel\u00edculas de acci\u00f3n y comedia de Hollywood interpret\u00f3 a Apollo Creed en la saga ‘Rocky’, se enfrent\u00f3 a Arnold Schwarzenegger en ‘Predator’ y ense\u00f1\u00f3 golf en ‘Happy Gilmore’. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matt Luber, su manager, dijo que Weathers muri\u00f3 el jueves. Su familia emiti\u00f3 un comunicado diciendo que muri\u00f3\u00a0\u201cpac\u00edficamente mientras dorm\u00eda\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weathers, en realidad,  nunca hab\u00eda boxeado cuando hizo su audici\u00f3n para el papel en ‘Rocky’, y luego apareci\u00f3 como Apollo Creed en la pel\u00edcula ganadora del Oscar y en las siguientes tres secuelas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u00f3modo flexionando sus m\u00fasculos en la pantalla grande en ‘Action Jackson’ y bromeando en la peque\u00f1a pantalla en programas como ‘Arrested Development’, Weathers estuvo quiz\u00e1s siempre m\u00e1s estrechamente asociado con Creed<\/strong>, quien hizo su primera aparici\u00f3n como el arrogante e indiscutible campe\u00f3n mundial de peso pesado en ‘Rocky’ en 1976, protagonizado por Sylvester Stallone<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTe pone en el mapa y hace tu carrera, por as\u00ed decirlo. Pero esto es algo \u00fanico, as\u00ed que tienes que seguir adelante. Afortunadamente, esas pel\u00edculas siguieron apareciendo y Apollo Creed se qued\u00f3 cada vez m\u00e1s en la conciencia de la gente y fue bienvenido en sus vidas, y era el hombre adecuado en el momento adecuado\u201d<\/strong>, dijo el actor a The Daily Beast en 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e1s recientemente, Weathers protagoniz\u00f3 el \u00e9xito de Disney+\u00a0‘The Mandalorian’<\/strong>, apareciendo en las tres temporadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
