En el transcurso de&nbsp;<strong>ocho d\u00e9cadas de carrera profesional<\/strong>, Ahmad Jamal, que comenz\u00f3 sus estudios formales de piano con 7 a\u00f1os, consigui\u00f3 varios premios entre los que destaca el Grammy por su trayectoria. A los 3 a\u00f1os comenz\u00f3 a tocar el piano y, cuatro a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, inici\u00f3 sus estudios formales. Al unirse al sindicato de m\u00fasicos, con 14 a\u00f1os, el pianista Art Tatum le elogi\u00f3 indicando que ten\u00eda \u00abun gran futuro\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A<strong>&nbsp;principios y mediados de 1950<\/strong>, dirigi\u00f3 varios tr\u00edos y cuartetos hasta que se instal\u00f3 en un tr\u00edo con el bajista Israel Crosby y el bater\u00eda Vernel Fournier, quienes lazaron At The Pershing: But Not For Me, que es una de las grabaciones m\u00e1s populares e influyentes de la historia del jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Posteriormente, a\u00a0<strong>finales de los a\u00f1os 70,<\/strong>\u00a0grab\u00f3 The Awakening, que fue ampliamente aclamado por la originalidad del mismo seg\u00fan los est\u00e1ndares del jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asimismo, compuso m\u00fasica para\u00a0<strong>bandas sonoras de varias pel\u00edculas<\/strong>\u00a0y fund\u00f3 varios sellos discogr\u00e1ficos.
