Una treintena de ellos hab\u00edan sido tratados con PFAS, por sus propiedades impermeabilizantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abEn los envases de papel o cart\u00f3n, se trata de un uso antigrasa o antimanchas, para evitar que se forme un halo de grasa en la bolsa de patatas fritas, por ejemplo, o para evitar que se ensucien los dedos. La Autoridad Europea de Seguridad Alimentaria (EFSA) se toma en serio el riesgo. En 10 a\u00f1os, ha reducido considerablemente la dosis tolerable (valor de referencia toxicol\u00f3gico) de los PFAS, explican varios investigadores a Euronews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abEn el periodo perinatal, puede haber exposici\u00f3n de la madre y, por tanto, consecuencias para la descendencia\u00bb, declara Muriel&nbsp;Mercier-Bonin, directora de investigaci\u00f3n del&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inrae.fr\/\">INRAE<\/a>&nbsp;e investigadora en toxicolog\u00eda&nbsp;alimentaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abTenemos casos de aparici\u00f3n de c\u00e1nceres, efectos sobre la tiroides y efectos que reducir\u00e1n el sistema inmunitario. A excepci\u00f3n de Tetra Pak, l\u00edder mundial en el dise\u00f1o de envases alimentarios, que ha incrementado sus esfuerzos por fabricar productos m\u00e1s respetuosos con el medio ambiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abTetra Pak tiene miles de referencias de envases. No hay PFAS en los envases de Tetra Pak, salvo en algunos casos. Se trata de cantidades tan m\u00ednimas que est\u00e1n muy por debajo de lo que interesa a las autoridades europeas hoy en d\u00eda\u00bb, se\u00f1ala&nbsp;Sarah Nerbonne, directora de mercadotecnia de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tetrapak.com\/fr-fr\">Tetra Pak<\/a>&nbsp;para Francia y el Benelux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La empresa se ha comprometido a eliminar los PFAS \u00aben un futuro pr\u00f3ximo\u00bb.
