En este contexto,&nbsp;<strong>el estr\u00e9s se ha convertido en una compa\u00f1\u00eda silenciosa<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>casi normalizada<\/strong>&nbsp;aunque no deber\u00eda ser as\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cope.es\/tag\/estres\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">estr\u00e9s&nbsp;<\/a><\/strong>no es solo estar ocupado, cansado o tener muchas cosas que hacer.&nbsp;<strong>Es una respuesta del cuerpo ante una presi\u00f3n que percibimos como excesiva o constante<\/strong>. Puede ser algo que nos active puntualmente, pero&nbsp;<strong>cuando es algo recurrente termina desgast\u00e1ndonos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El estr\u00e9s constante afecta al&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cope.es\/tag\/sueno\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sue\u00f1o<\/a><\/strong>, al&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dle.rae.es\/%C3%A1nimo\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u00e1nimo<\/a><\/strong>, a la&nbsp;<strong>salud f\u00edsica<\/strong>&nbsp;y a las<strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Relaci%C3%B3n_interpersonal\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">relaciones personales<\/a><\/strong>. Sin embargo, a pesar de los s\u00edntomas,&nbsp;<strong>muchas veces lo ignoramos<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;lo justificamos o lo disfrazamos de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Productividad\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">productividad<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/strong>Pero&nbsp;<strong>identificarlo&nbsp;<\/strong>y&nbsp;<strong>buscar soluciones<\/strong>&nbsp;deber\u00eda ser una prioridad.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El tri\u00e1ngulo que condiciona nuestra mente<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>El estr\u00e9s puede interrumpir nuestro sue\u00f1o<\/strong>&nbsp;y las consecuencias van mucho m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del simple&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cope.es\/programas\/la-tarde\/noticias\/tres-aspectos-tienes-controlar-combatir-agotamiento-provocado-calor-comun-20250606_3165392.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">agotamiento<\/a>.&nbsp;<strong>Afectan directamente a la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cope.es\/tag\/memoria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">memoria<\/a>, a la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cope.es\/tag\/concentracion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">concentraci\u00f3n&nbsp;<\/a>y al equilibrio emocional.&nbsp;<\/strong>El estr\u00e9s y la falta de sue\u00f1o forman una&nbsp;<strong>combinaci\u00f3n peligrosa para nuestro cerebro<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando estamos estresados, el cuerpo libera una hormona llamada&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cope.es\/actualidad\/espana\/noticias\/son-tus-niveles-cortisol-toxicos-para-salud-20190318_375681\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cortisol<\/a><\/strong>, que&nbsp;<strong>nos mantiene en estado de alerta<\/strong>. Esta activaci\u00f3n continua&nbsp;<strong>interfiere con los&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ritmo_circadiano\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ritmos naturales del sue\u00f1o<\/a><\/strong>, dificultando el descanso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si no dormimos bien,&nbsp;<strong>el cerebro no puede procesar ni consolidar adecuadamente la informaci\u00f3n<\/strong>&nbsp;que recibe durante el d\u00eda. Este c\u00edrculo vicioso puede minar nuestra salud cognitiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Varias investigaciones de la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.apa.org\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Asociaci\u00f3n Americana de Psicolog\u00eda (APA )<\/a>&nbsp;han demostrado que&nbsp;<strong>las personas que reportan niveles de estr\u00e9s m\u00e1s altos tienden a dormir menos horas por noche y a tener una calidad del sue\u00f1o inferior.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otro de los estudios lo ha realizado la investigadora&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.upenn.edu\/apps\/faculty\/index.php\/g275\/p8946255\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Shinjae Chung<\/a>, de la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.upenn.edu\/\">Universidad de Pensilvania en Estados Unidos<\/a>. Esta manipulaci\u00f3n experimental provoc\u00f3 que los<strong>&nbsp;ratones durmieran menos y afect\u00f3 su rendimiento en una tarea de memoria<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando investigaron m\u00e1s a fondo, los investigadores descubrieron que&nbsp;<strong>el estr\u00e9s y la activaci\u00f3n artificial de las neuronas del NPV se dirig\u00edan por separado a otra regi\u00f3n cerebral llamado&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hipot%C3%A1lamo\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">hipot\u00e1lamo lateral (HL)<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta<strong>&nbsp;v\u00eda neuronal&nbsp;<\/strong>que va del NPV al HL&nbsp;<strong>podr\u00eda estar implicada en el deterioro de la memoria y las interrupciones del sue\u00f1o<\/strong>&nbsp;relacionados con el estr\u00e9s.
